Here you’ll consume less of the environment and more of the culture. The district encourages contemporary creation and Estonia is closer than ever: Telliskivi Creative City, Railway Station, Fotografiska, Vaba Lava theatre centre, Kalamaja, Old Town. There are hundreds of places for enjoying a meal or having a drink. Tartu and Narva are only few hours by train. You can’t go wrong!
Some of the best local design shops are near the hotel for fellow design fans. Our favourite is Reet Aus’ studio store – design that’s as environmentally sustainable as can be. Our awesome team t-shirts are also created by her.
Environmental sustainability is about making the right choice, not compromising on comfort. Our beds are super comfortable (if we may say so ourselves) and the pure cotton sheets (Ecolabel!) are washed according to Green Key conditions. We haven’t stuffed our bathrooms with small single use products but instead with only the most important – all-in-one body wash that’s produced right here in Estonia from natural ingredients.
We know the downside of Tallinn as a destination: a few too many cloudy days. But at the container hotel in Tallinn city centre, you’ll open the curtains and see that we’ve brought you daylight that you’d otherwise only see with a clear sky.
Design. Experience. Shoulder to shoulder feeling. Details. Our team won’t iron your shirt but will give you tips about Tallinn you won’t find on Trip Advisor. If you feel like climbing out of the cocoon but don’t want to go too far, you might want to curl up in our spacious living areas. Harmony room, lobby bar, kitchen, reading corners – as the Danes say hyggeligt!
PS! Hektor Container Hotel in Tallinn city centre doesn’t promote workaholism but we respect our guests with special needs: we have a co-working space, quality coffee and fast wi-fi so you can
handle your tasks quickly or take your time getting things done.
